Susan McCann began working with kids assisting martial arts classes at an early age. In 2014, the Texas Martial Arts Hall of Fame recognized her as a sports karate legend for her athleticism and contribution to the development of the youth within our community. She is a licensed childcare director through the State of Texas. Susan utilizes the martial arts discipline as a means to direct with excellence. She ensures that KidzCare Learning Academy not only meets but exceeds local and state childcare guidelines. Her number one goal is to guarantee that parents and students leave KidzCare with an exceptional experience.
Cynthia Campbell graduated from Texas Christian University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a certification in Early Childhood through Fourth Grade. She worked as a general education teacher for MISD for seven years. As our KidzCare Curriculum Director, Cynthia develops and refines our innovative curriculum. She also provides extensive teacher training, in order to ensure proper curriculum implementation and maximize student learning. Cynthia is also a highly qualified martial arts instructor. She has earned over 400 awards in kata, kumite, and kobudo. Among the most memorable are NBL National Champion 1994, Five Time TKL Competitor of the Year, Eight Time TKL Eagle Award Winner, AAU/USA National Champion, Two Time AAU Junior Olympic Joel Ferrel Memorial Award Winner and a member of the AAU/USA International Team.
